Itinerary
Monkey Island / Pink Dolphins / Night Excursion
We will meet you at the airport and... 12 hours
We will meet you at the airport and transfer to the Bellavista Nanay pier to take our river boat. We enter the jungle seeing beautiful natural landscapes and growing villages along the river. We will observe the union of the Amazon and Nanay rivers. Our first visit, Monkey Island, a shelter where a large number of monkeys live in their natural habitat. We will interact with primate species such as the capuchin monkey, choro monkey, spider monkey, among others. We will navigate the river in search of the pink freshwater dolphin. We arrived at the lodge and after accommodating we concentrated on the central maloca to enjoy our lunch. We will visit the riverside community of “San Rafael” to know its activities, customs and crafts, then to the “San Rafael” sugar mill, place of extraction of the sugar cane juice, where we will taste exotic liquors. We will have dinner at the lodge and then do a jungle exploration on foot in search of nocturnal creatures. Back to the lodge to hear the myths and legends, where we will spend the night.

We start the day with a pleasant breakfast and transport ourselves to the opposite end of the Amazon, towards the Yanayacu river basin ecosystem. Magical area rich in fauna, whose species are hawks, herons, hoatzin, among others. We will find a great variety of plants, but without a doubt the giant flora is the one that causes the greatest admiration, as is the case of the well-known “Lupuna” impressive giant tree, guardian par excellence of the forest, with a robust body that can exceed fifty meters high . In this place there is also one of the famous “Victoria Regia” floating leaves that can exceed one and a half meters in diameter. After our lunch aboard the boat we move to a strategic area where we test our piranha fishing skills. We will have the opportunity to swim and enjoy the warm atmosphere. We sail back to the lodge for dinner and rest.

We will explore the jungle very early, contemplating... 24 hours
We will explore the jungle very early, contemplating a magical moment such as the rising of the sun and the Amazon symphony. After our breakfast, we go to the “Morphosapi” butterfly garden, a concentration center for lepidoptera not only for exhibition but also for production where we will access a private area to interact with them. After our lunch we will visit the native community “Los Yaguas” where we will know their customs and traditions, in addition to dancing their typical dances such as Las Pandillas and Turusayas and we will test our aim with the traditional wind gun known as Cerbatanas and Pucunas. In the evening, we will have our regional dinner.

After our pleasant breakfast, we move to the... 12 hours
After our pleasant breakfast, we move to the "Pedrito" farm where it shows a wide variety of animals such as alligators, piranhas, parrots, aquatic plants and the largest freshwater river fish known as Paiche. Following our tour through the jungle we will arrive at the Wild Animal Rescue Center, a place of concentration of species such as sloths, toucans, turtles and the famous anaconda. For our lunch, we will go to one of the special places of the Peruvian jungle, “Barranquito”, floating restaurant on the banks of the Amazon River where we will taste the most popular dishes of the jungle. Back to the river transport to go to the jetty and take our mobility to the hotel or direct to the airport, in case the flight is the same day.
