Itinerary

Tamale-Mole

In the morning, your tour guide will pick... 3 hours

In the morning, your tour guide will pick you up at the airport and take you to the Sognaayilli culture village where you get to see the northern people of Ghana, learn their way of doing things and meet their interesting people. With noon comes a nice lunch at the Wooden restaurant. Afterwards you get to visit the leather and local markets before finally leaving for the main destination of the tour; Mole National Park. When you arrive at the Park after two and a half hours on the road, you'll be given some time to freshen up before the real fun begins. After dinner at 7pm, you will be driven to Mognori eco-village where you'll witness the unique dance steps and music of the people. We call it a day here and drive you back to Mole Motel where you can rest and prepare for the next day.

The second day is fun filled as this... 72 hours

The second day is fun filled as this is when you begin by taking early walks and drives around the park to see animals like baboons, buffaloes, elephants, warthogs and the numerous species of birds. After this early drive comes breakfast. A visit will once again be paid to Mognori eco-village later in the day where you will get a village guided walk in addition to a canoe safari. When you return to the motel by 1pm, you'll be treated to a nice lunch and a relaxing time at the pool. A Jeep drive safari comes next at about 3:15pm after which you get to watch the captivating sunset from the viewpoint of the Mole Motel. Dinner is once again served by 7pm.

Breakfast comes quite late this morning as you will be given some time to pack you bags in preparation for departure. On your way to Tamale, you will make a stop to see the oldest mosque in all of West Africa, Laribanga mosque. It was built in the year 1421 and still stands til​​l today. On arrival at Tamale, you will be treated to a delicious lunch at Wooden restaurant after which you'll be taken back to the airport for your departure.
