Itinerary
Windhoek to Sossusvlei (BL&D)
We will pick you up from your hotel... 24 hours
We will pick you up from your hotel or guest house between 7am and 8am and depart at 8:30am straight on the way south to world-famous Sossusvlei via picturesque Spreetshoogte Pass. We will then have a Stop-over at the view point to appreciate endless view of the Namib. Our lunch will be at the Solitaire oasis. We will arrive at the lodge or campsite around 3-4 pm. This time is extremely hot, we recommend that you spend the day cooling off by the pool. Early rest will be necessary as tomorrow you are expected to wake early in the morning
Sossusvlei, Dead Vlei, Dune 45 and Big Daddy dune (BL&D)
Early in the morning, at sunrise, we will... 24 hours
Early in the morning, at sunrise, we will visit the Sesriem Gate to the remarkable Sossusvlei. We start off with climbing picturesque Dune 45, experiencing beauty and vastness of the orange-colored landscape. Off-road drive to the Dead Vlei, a place of vast desert pan where dried-up, ancient acacias stand silent in the impressive, open-air gallery. If you have enough energy, you can climb one of the highest dunes on Earth, the ‚Big Daddy ‘or ‚Big Mama. After the morning excursion, we will return back to Sesriem for lunch. We will take a break for 1-2 hours. Once the heat subsides, we will take a short excursion to Sesriem Canyon. This will be our last activities for the day.
Return to Windhoek (B&L)
Soon after breakfast we will depart to Windhoek... 5 hours
Soon after breakfast we will depart to Windhoek through beautiful Spreetshoogte Pass. On our way we will stop-over at Solitaire. We will approximately arrive at our destination in the afternoon. We will drop you off at the hotel/lodge of your choice Farewell, goodbye.
