This two day tour start and end in Kigali which is a closer drive to Bwindi National park than it is from Kampala, The first day will travell from Kigali to Uganda Via Cyanika or Gatuna Border, then track gorillas on the second day and return to Kigali the same day after Gorilla Trekking. The Bwindi Park is a biodiverse, mountainous area in southwest Uganda. It’s home to world’s remaining mountain gorillas, who feed on roots, leaves and fruits from the park’s many tree and fern species.

Today is the day you have been waiting for. After an early breakfast, your driver guide will transfer you to the starting point for a briefing about the gorilla trekking adventure you are about to take. You will be briefed by experienced ranger guides and trackers from the Uganda Wildlife Authority. Gorilla tracking can be physically demanding but the whole experience is amazing and worth it. You will track a habituated family that is comfortable with human presence. Once you meet these beautiful gentle giant gorillas, you will be allowed one hour with them, watching how they interact with their young ones, vocalize, and feed. You will then have your lunch away from them in the forest and return to the park offices for a small ceremony. You will then be transferred back to your hotel in Kigali or to the airport for your outbound flight. Accommodation for tonight is not included but can be added at an extra cost.
