About This Experience in Maun

The tour usually starts with a 7:30h hotel pickup followed by a 1-2hr transfer to the Okavango Delta NG32 Concession. You are allocated a guide/poler who takes you on an unforgettable journey through the channels of the Okavango. Born and raised in the Okavango Delta, our polers and guides show you their home which they are very passionate and knowledgeable about. We support the local community in the Okavango Delta. All our polers come from the mokoro village Community Trust and are allocated on a daily rotation basis by the Trust. They will take you on a journey through the delta channels. Enjoy the peace of the delta in a Mokoro, stop for a packed lunch on one of the islands before your guide takes you on an nature walk where we hope to see some animals. Feel the peace and tranquility of the Okavango surrounded by reeds and serenaded by the abundant bird life, before heading back to Maun This tour is NOT focused on seeing as many animals as possible.
