Pura Luhur Poten is a Hindu temple located under the foot of Mount Bromo. This temple is the center of religious activities of the majority Tengger tribe who are Hindu. You can visit this place by walking as far as 200 meters from the car park area.

MALANG- SUNRISE VIEW POINT, Bromo Tengger Semeru National Park (TNBTS) The trip to Mount Bromo normally takes for 2-2.5 hours from Malang city. The first area of TNBTS that we will visit is the sunrise view point located in Penanjakan or Kingkong hill. Normally the sunrise will be rise at 04.30 AM. Upon arrival in the sunrise view point, the driver will ask for permission to take a rest until 06.00 AM. This is important considering the road conditions that you will take in the morning are more bumping than the road that you have traveled during night (Malang-Sunrise view point). So you’ll enjoy the view of Penanjakan without a tour guide. The night temperature at Mount Bromo is normally 0°-12° Celcius and will warm up when the sun rises. If you need an extra jacket, you can rent in the sunrise view point with cost 20.000 - 30.000 IDR. While waiting for sun to rise, you can wait at local coffee shop there. Please ask for the price first to avoid scam in the end.
