Transfer from Entebbe – Kibale Forest National Park - Hike to the top of the world
After breakfast with driver/guide will set off to Western Uganda, to Fort Portal 7 hours
After breakfast with driver/guide will set off to Western Uganda, to Fort Portal. This lively town is the base for activities around Kibale Forest National Park. The national park offers one of the most varied tracts of tropical forest in Uganda, 70 mammal species and 13 primate species. The drive takes 5 to 7 hours so we will arrive in time in Fort Portal for lunch. After lunch we will shake off the long drive with a walk to the “top of the world” along crater lakes which this area is also famous for.
Chimpanzee Trekking & Bigodi community Experience
Proceed to the Kanyanchu visitors Centre at 06 8 hours
Proceed to the Kanyanchu visitors Centre at 06.00am to meet with the Chimpanzee Habituation team where you will conduct what is known as the Chimp Chex activity. This activity is a unique opportunity to participate in the habituation of chimps within the Kibale Forest National Park. There is provision for you to participate from dawn to dusk where you can call 'time' on the day such that it can be quite challenging physically but at the same time there are long pauses in the experience that will see you relaxing and observing in close proximity to the chimps as they too relax in the middle of the day.

As you are warming up for the gorilla tracking… We start the day with a game drive to look for tree climbing lionsin Ishasha sector of Queen Elizabeth before having a relaxed lunch at the lodge. We then drive further south to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park which is of Uganda´s oldest and most diverse rainforests.
